Mr. Tyler Johnson
Hello, my name is Tyler Johnson and I am looking forward to starting this school year as the high school math teacher. I grew up in central Illinois, where I graduated high school in 2009 at Blue Ridge High School, in Farmer City, Illinois. I attended college at the University of Illinois Springfield, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2013.
After college I began working for the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a Trooper. I originally worked in Farmington before moving to Otterville in November of 2015. I began substitute teaching in 2016 and did so until 2018. I obtained my teaching certificate and began teaching Math at Otterville in 2018. I am the Nation Honor Society faculty advisor, and am involved in several sports teams.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Sarah Johnson, and have a son named Marshall. During my free time I enjoy hanging out with my wife and son, playing sports, hunting, and playing videogames. I am looking forward to teaching mathematics and hope to spread my love for math to the students.
